Plans, assigns, directs, and coordinates activities relating to Day-Shift operations, including safety, quality, production, and employee relations.
Supervises the daily work activities of Production Team Leaders and Production Team Associates.
Supervises Team Leader(s) & Associates in planning, assigning, directing and coordinating day-to-day activities.
Assists the Manager in determining/managing appropriate manpower.
Trains employees on their job duties and responsibilities and cross trains as necessary.
Tracks & reports daily production and drives improvements.
Participates and leads process improvement projects:
productivity, quality, ergonomics, etc.
Ensures all Company policies, procedures, plant standards and safety rules are consistently adhered to.
Collaborates with the Manager/HR in the administration of disciplinary action, when necessaryMaintains employees' Attendance and Time-Off PoliciesProvides feedback on work performance, safety, housekeeping, quality, accuracy, quantity, punctuality, job knowledge, adaptability, initiative, teamwork, communication, judgement and comprehension.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two (2) years of production supervisory experience or a minimum of five (5) years of team leadership experience in an Automotive manufacturing facility.
JIT experience preferred.
Working knowledge of safety standards and OSHA guidelinesWorking knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and experience with manufacturing softwareTrillium Technical has been recruiting and placing Engineering professionals for over 30 years.
